Does the NCAA recognize the online courses for their eligibility status?

(Academy)

Yes, most of our core courses meet the criteria set forth by the NCAA eligibility center. Only core courses (not electives) are approved by the NCAA.

You can see a list of our NCAA-approved courses by going to the Eligibility Center: https://web1.ncaa.org/hsportal/exec/hsAction?hsActionSubmit=searchHighSchool

Enter our CEEB code: 365242

There, you can view which courses they approve and at which level.

When a student completes a class and needs a transcript for the Eligibility Center, the online provider must issue the transcript (in this case, Sevenstar). The NCAA will only accept Sevenstar courses if the student takes it from a Sevenstar instructor and the course is listed on a Sevenstar transcript.

Information on how to request an official transcript can be found here.

The NCAA will also ask us for the submission and activity records of the students in that particular class.
