YouTube understands that some schools do not want to provide complete access to their service for a variety of reasons. For this reason, YouTube has created YouTube for Schools. YouTube for Schools allows schools to selectively allow only certain videos to be viewed by students when they are on the school's network.

Schools that block YouTube but still need students to be able to access certain videos to complete their courses should follow the setup process outlined in this YouTube help document https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/2695317?hl=en
